The Ghetto is not My Final Destination

I was born in the ghetto…
conditioned to believe that I had
no place else to go. Until I had
a revelation that I was one of GOD’s creations
and the ghetto wasn’t meant to be my final destination.

I learned to deal with the struggles and pains that I faced everyday,
by embracing the world with unshakeable faith.

When I was hungry, faith fed me.
When I was afraid, faith comforted me.
When I lost confidence, faith encouraged me.
When I was troubled with no help in sight, faith acted
as my guiding light.

Allow me to hip you to
the revelation that you’re
also one of GOD’s creations and the
ghetto wasn’t meant to be your final destination.
